A distant influential friend died not too long ago and upon receiving the news, I got to thinking about the topic of death. It hit me hard one night and I decided I needed to stay up through the night and see this through. So here's a song with a vomit of lyrics that have been circling around my head.

But I did anyway

Felt like shrapnel, sending me to the ground
